ok. I've tried medium ash brown, but it turned my whole hair to a reddish tint. (which was not what I wanted to be!) What types of hair shade won't make you look red?

Take it from gay guy! I dyed my hair millions of colors and one day I dyed it ash blonde on my blonde hair and my hair turned green! DO NOT USE ASH COLORS! Ash colors have a GREEN base color which gives the tint! When you go to the store ask the beauty professional, she will know all the base colors! And you need a LIGHT GOLDEN BROWN!
