In the first chapter of Revelation part of the description of the resurrected Christ that John relates to us describes the Lords hair as white as snow and as having eyes as the flame of fire.

You are close. Revelation chapter 1 descripes the resurrected Jesus as seen in heaven as having white hair, the color of wool, and eyes that glow like fires. A little bit different then "wool hair and red eyes".
