I'd say yeah it would. A light color in your hair contrasts with a red skin tone. Probably a medium brown would look good. Something really subtle.

I have red skin tones. I have very boring brown hair and I hated it. So I got caramel and blond highlights. I dont think it makes my skin tone appear more red. No one has ever told me if it does. Maybe they are lying to me. No, I think my hair looks good. I have a great hairdresser, she always tell me when my hair will look bad. So, go for it.
