Any home made hair coloring for darker hair to turn red or bright hair ?

homemade as in foods/foodcolouring/chemicals?!

tip one: stay away from that stuff.

if I were you, (i am adventerous) and i didnt have proper hair dye, id take a peice of hair from under your hair (one that can be cut or messed up) and soak it for a while in hydrogen peroxide, then use a red sharpie on it, and then let it sit for a little while and then properly shampoo it and condition it, and see if it works. if your hair gets distroyed from the peroxide, its not my fault though. the colour should stay for a long itme if you do it that way

I use natural Body Art Quality Henna to colour, condition and strengthen my hair. It gives me a beautiful, intense red with very little fading and mad shine.

Be very careful if you decide to use henna. Be sure that the henna you use is pure. Henna dyes and mixes can often contain ingredients that can kill your hair dead!

But, pure natural henna is safe for your hair. It is even good for your hair and is safe to use over chemical dye and to chemical dye over it.

Henna is a little messy and time consuming, but it is soooo worth it. It is fairly easy, too. Just mix henna powder with hot water to a stirred yoghurt consistancy, let it sit in a warm spot for a couple of hours until it releases dye, then apply it to clean, dry hair. Wrap it up and wear it for about six hours or so. Rinse, condition and revel in your beautiful red hair.
