red's usually fade the fastest... you can either get remover; or use baking soda and water.

You can make a paste.... apply to your hair and wash it out. all the color should be gone ... or you can repeat the process.

the only way to actually remove the color is to use lightener (bleach) if you just want to get rid of the red use a semi-permanent color over the red that is an ash brown (with a green base tint) the green in the ash color will cancel out the red. I was a hairstylist and master colorist for 12 years, I promise this will work.

when i had my hair died red, i had to wait till it faded out, i take it you have blonde hair or light hair ?, just wet your hair go for the strongest shampoo you have and keep combing you will see all pinky foam come of , this means my answer is working x ps. good luck with it

baking soda and vinegar rinse. it foams so don't freak out. you could also squeeze a little fresh lemon (not lemon juice squirt stuff) to it for added sloughing of red.

shampoo. rinse. add mixture. comb thru, leave on for a while if need be. rinse. reshampoo. rinse. towel dry (see if the red is gone) condition and rinse or add more mix and start from there again.

red haircolor is the hardest to remove-even if it is semi-permanent. Depending on your hair condition it can really suck up the color. Red has the largest color molecule and is ridiculous to get out. Go see a professional please- the only way to get this out is to bleach it-I'm not sure what color you want as an end result but they can cover it up, or bleach it lighter-which of course no matter how much you bleach it it will come out yelllowy orange-so then they have to tone or recolor it. They will know what is best and can do it without killing your hair : )

The only way to remove it would be to bleach out the pigment. Semi permanent hair color will wash/fade out but it will still leave some of the pigment behind.

If you don't want to bleach your hair you could try to redye it using a richer color brown or a darker more auburn red.

If you wanted to make it lighter you would have to bleach the pigment out which I would suggest having professionally done or you could simply have highlights added throughout your hair and it will lighten and tone down the red look.

Good luck!
