i suggest you bleach it all first to remove the colors,

then go over it with a light ash brown color to cover the remaining color. the streaks might look a little lighter, but it will blend it well enough so that it wont be noticeable.

Did you dye your hair dark brown? Because if you did it would just dye your roots. (Same with your highlights, may lighten them, but will dye your roots)
