I don't think you could get dark hair that bright. So i think you would have would have to bleach it and then choose the red you like that way it would be brighter.



Just be prepared that bleach does damage your hair but if you do it correctly you should be fine good luck to you.

You might have to bleach it first, then add the color, but that's really bad for your hair.

You have to pick a darker red dye, and a good brand of dye too, so that it doesn't fade. It only turns orangish if it starts to fade. My cousin did it and she has black hair. I think she might've re-dyed it to get it to stay dark though.

naturally??? I know you can use red Koolaid to dye your hair but by it being dark it will have to stay in longer to show up. Use gloves when you do this!!!

If you have a sally's beauty supply store go there and by the color for dark colored hair by clairol.. It does everything for you in one step...it lifts,and deposits color into to your hair in one step.. great stuff...But if you do not have that store to go to then you really should go to a stylist to have it done right..
