Naturals since you have to opposites like red hair and green dress they compliment each other very well. Just stay with nude natural colors nothing extreme.

That all depends on your completion. I wouldn't want to give you some advice and have you looking like a disaster basket at prom. You should find the nearest Bloomies, or Macy's, bring the dress, and get your make-up done, experiment until you get it right and have the make-up artist help you. Have fun sweetie!

stick with shades that compliment your eyes. DO NOT match your dress with makeup. That is so 80's. If your eyes are green, purple hues (not PURPLE, but a hue of it) will make them POP. If blue, stick with nuetrals, and a black or brown liner.
Make it a little dressy, but not too much. And then add a little sparkle somewhere. Not too much, you'll look 10, but a little is perfect for prom.
For lips, keep it simple. Use a gloss, that is sexy but not trashy.

Go with neutrals. Any bright colors on ur face will clash with the brightness of ur dress and ur hair.

Please be careful if you select a makeup artist; I've yet to have one work on my face who knew what to do with my complexion and coloring. I'm strawberry blonde with grey eyes, light freckled rosy skin, and white eyelashes and brows. I've always come away looking like a drunk mortician did my face up.
I agree that nudes, neutrals, and browns will be lovely on you. The prettiest eye shadows I've found for me have been from Urban Decay: Blunt, Chopper, Twice Baked, and Midnight Cowboy Rides Again can all work separately or together, to create daytime or nighttime looks, and do work for lighter redheads, as well as for those with darker hair and eyes.
Go with a neutral peach or pink for the lips (whichever is best for you), if you're going to play up the eyes. That, and you won't have to fight for space in the bathroom to reapply with a steady hand. :- )
