Red highlights on black or very dark brown hair?

I have wavey hair. It`s really dark brown, i guess some people would say black. How do you think a few big red highlights would look? I am usually play safe with my look but i want to try something new for the summer. Maybe just trying the washout kind. Or temporary dye. But yeah opinons are appreciate!

i have the same hair and the red/maroon colored streaks look awesome! You don't have to straighten your hair, it would look equally cute when your hairs wavy.

my sister did that years ago and it didn't look all that good although she did have very chunky highlights. I'd say if you do thin highlights, it should look alright, but You should maybe try temporary dye first, just to see.

Well, if I was you, I would get some reddish/orange high lights that look more natural and if you like that, go a little more bold with red.

Go for it. The summer is always a great time to try new stuff. Be careful though since hair will lighten a lot in the summer sun. You don't want it to turn a weird orange. I also don't think it would look bad if your hair was curly. Highlights only accent your curls.

I want to say don't stress it I just got a weave of black,brown and red. I really love it alot everyone say's how nice it looks .

even if you get it perm ant it will always grow out,but yes you will want to straighten it Ido and it looks bad ***. Good Luck to ya.

Do it! they're so cool! he only drawback is that they tend to fade really quickly; I know this from previous experiences! So, you must maintain your hair color very well if you do.
