Mid feb i dyed my hair scarlet red but now i want to go back to my natural golden-ish blonde, what c

i used feria do it yourself hair dye and tho i loved it it's so impractical to keep, its now gone a sort of old copper penny colour, i also think i suited the blonde better. i want to go back to it but i'm not sure how to do it so as (a) not to damage my hair too much and (b) it doesnt go a bright ginger orange. i'm very impatient to have it done as soon as poss but also dont want to spend a fortune, can anyone give me any hints, tips or advice?

red is a hard color because it is the fastest to fade and hardest to remove. to go back to your natural color you would have to chemically strip the red color out of your hair then dye it to the color closest to your natural color. this is not something i would recommend doing at home. please seek the advise of a professional hair stylist

permanent haircolor is permanent. there's nothing you can do except to strip the color out with bleach, and then re-coloring your hair with a primer, then color.

or just live with it and let it grow out.

of course, letting it grow out means having two colors for a while. so, stripping it out will be very damaging to your hair.

so, if you plan on stripping it out, go to a salon. it's pricey, but worth it in the long run.

make sure the salon knows what they're doing, not all salons do!

good luck
