My hair is platinum blonde, last bleached a few weeks ago, and I want to go red. I need help.?

1. I have bleached my hair a few times over the last couple of months.

2. I bought 2 boxes of Loreal Excellence Cream #9RB and used both boxes (first box didn't take hardly at all... 2nd box didn't do much better).

3. My roots turned light red whereas the rest of my hair turned to a strawberry blonde-ish/champagne color - not at all what I was wanting.

4. Should I get a darker red for better results?

Maybe you should go for a darker red to get better results..
