I'm going through the exact same thing! I took the bleach off too soon and now it's orange/ginger...with bright blonde roots! I think you may need to bleach it again, as the ash blonde might not cover the orange if it's too dark. Just use a lower volume developer to prevent further damage to your hair(and condition loads!). Once your at the yellow/pale yellow stage, you can put an ash blonde on it to counteract the brassiness. Hope this helps! good luck!

it is time to go to a professional hair salon. you don't want to damage your hair any more than you already have.

good luck!

Can a professional hair dresser take care of that problem for you?

u should've gone to a hair salon where they use professional stuff...if you buy the stuff at asalllys there it leaves the hair pretty ugly plus u suppose to leave it it on with heat till you see it go blonder...

Im sorry to say ash blonde will only make it worse. You really need to let your head rest a few days (awful I know!!) Maybe try a *Diamond* color. (REALLY light blonde) But I would go to a store like Sallys or Utla were they can help you. Think about going to a salon tho please. If it doesnt work this next time...your really going to have to if you wanna stay blonde.

GO TO A PROFESSIONAL

DO NOT PUT ANYMORE 'BLONDE' ON YOUR HAIR BECAUSE YOU ARE USING BLEACH. YOU CANNOT APPLY BLEACH OVER BLEACH.

UNLESS YOU WANNA BE BALD.

why are you using box color in the first place?

so many people don't know what they are doing and to top it off they decide to use an unprofessional box color.

call and salon and make yourself an appointment.

Try using a toner over the colour.

Go to a beauty supply store (NOT A DRUGSTORE) and purchase the appropriate colour or toner. Then ask the people for something to add to the dye to keep red out: Sally Beauty Supply has one called UnRed and another that's for both redness and brassiness. That should keep red to a minimum. And go for a neutral colour- stay away from red, gold, and ash bases!

And as much as you might hate it- you might HAVE to go darker, albeit temporarily. A semi-permanent should work okay.
