Does it matter which shade of red you use to take the bleach out of your hair?

I was told the only way to get rid of bleached hair is to dye it red before considering a brown shade. I have bought quite a dark red shade. Is this correct? should I have gone for more of a copper?

The last thing I want is pink or orange hair.

well, you cant get rid of it, but you can try to cover it up....yes red will help to "fill" the hair, so that the brown can stick a little better to the blond.......you'd be much better off going to sally beauty supply and getting a filler, the colors in the box come with 20volume peroxide and you dont need that for a filler. go ask for a filler and then ask for a color that would compliment your skin....make sure to use a demi-permanent color over the filler first, then in a week, you can cover with a permanent color, and while ur there, pick up the brown shampoo and conditioner they sell to keep the brown in ur hair. i do this all the time and it works.
