Hair Color Confusion...getting rid of red?

My hair is currently brown, but in the light has an orangy red hint to it (I used Feria's havanna brown color about six weeks ago). What is a good at home box color I could use for a caramel colored brown, with no red hints to it?

Check the box for a toll free number. When coloring your own hair remember anything that indicates the color is warm will tend to be brassy. Stick to a neutral shade, neither wamm, or cool.

You have to be careful using Feria (Im a cosmetologist) it can have negative reaction with other products. To get rid of "red" tones you need to use a drabber. So go with a color that has the word "ash" in it or "nuetral"...that will neutralize the red tones. Go with a semi permanent color just in case you have a bad color reaction because of Feria. Then whatever happens will be temporary. Good luck.

well dear, I red your Question and if you want to have a brown hair with no red hint, then you should go for a dark brown color all over. Make sure to use a good brand color, not any cheap ones which are sold in pharmacy, or Drug Mart.

Brand names that you can count on( REDKEN, PROFESSIONAL LOREALE and WELLA) these colors are availible in Hair salons and can not be found over counter in reguler stores.
